A Heritage Forged in 1979
Shri Param Sant Jamuna Das Inter College was founded in 1979 with a simple yet profound vision — to bring quality education to the children of Jamua Haraura and the wider Azamgarh region. What began with modest classrooms has flourished into a thriving institution that has educated tens of thousands of students across nearly five decades.
Named in honour of the saint and visionary Shri Param Sant Jamuna Das, the college has remained faithful to the principles of ज्ञान, संस्कार, अनुशासन and सफलता — knowledge, values, discipline and success.
Today, with modern smart classrooms, well-equipped science and computer labs, a rich library and dedicated sports infrastructure, we continue to combine timeless values with contemporary learning.
